Hosting T11 Meeting Weeks

If you are considering hosting T11 Meeting Weeks, the following information will assist you:

Since 1998 the T11 web site has only captured attendance information from TC & TG Plenary meetings. A paper sheet has however been distributed for some of that time to ALL of the people who attended the meetings during the T11 Plenary Weeks, including FCIA meetings, and the results tabulated in this document.

In June 2005 the T11 electronic attendance scheme was enhanced to allow people who were not attending T11 meetings to also electronically register their room nights. This information may be found here. Click on the blue triangles to expand the years and months.

If you would like to provide meeting attenders with a guide to facilities local to your meeting site, please see document 07-707v0 for a method of doing this that utilizes either Google Maps or Google Earth and does not have any issue with copyright. That document consistes of two files:
  1. A Keyhole Markup Language (KML) file, which contains the local information that you wish to be displayed. Note that the coordinates in that file are given in "decimal degrees" - see here for a converter from the more usual degrees-minutes-seconds format. For full details on the KML format, see here.
  2. A simple HTML file that shows how to redirect to Google Maps and display an overlay of the information in the KML file above.
