Welcome to the FC-PI-4 (SFP+) modeling page

This page contains the SFP+ modeling files

 Essentially, there are 4 parts:

  1. A random 8B10B data sequence for time-domain simulations. It is 1000 bits long to allow reasonable simulation times. (In comparison, CJTPAT is 2640 bits).

  2. Various selections of test cases for fibers and launches from the OM2 fiber model set. A readme file explains these.

  3. Two test cases for fibers and launches from the OM3 fiber model set. A readme file explains these.

  4. Simplified analytical equations and fitting values for 2-port FR4 modeling. This is useful for those who don't want to have to use full-blown PCB tools.
