Subject:	Request for ISO patent disclosures for ISO/IEC FC-SW-3

Your company has disclosed possible intellectual property bearing on 
INCITS 384:2004, Information Technology - Fibre Channel Switch Fabric 
Third Generation (FC-SW-3).  In order for FC-SW-3 to meet the requirements 
for standardization by ISO/IEC JTC1, a similar disclosure must also be 
sent to the IEC.  

For your information, the formal number and title of the ISO/IEC
standard is:  ISO Standard 14165-133, "INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: Fibre 
Channel —Switch Fabric - 3 (FC-SW-3)".

A new form has been provided for this purpose by JTC1 to
facilitate the filing of such patent disclosures.  A copy of this
form, together with the cover letter describing the form, are
enclosed in this mailing and are also available at www.t11.org
as document T11/05-805v0.

The completed form should be transmitted by fax, e-mail, or conventional
