The documents have been removed from all publicly available official websites. In support of FC-VI as a domestic standard and as an international standard, the INCITS Fibre Channel Interfaces (T11) committee would like to place the three documents on the T11 and/or INCITS webpages. Two of those documents have copyrights only from Intel. The third document, "Virtual Interface Architecture Specification, Draft Revision 1.0, December 4, 1997" also is copyrighted by Compaq (now owned by HP) and Microsoft. I would greatly appreciate a letter permitting the public posting of the supporting document under the conditions outlined by David Rockower, below. That would include a revocable, worldwide license under your copyright to post these documents as-is and reproduce in technical reports, with appropriate disclaimers so that no one mistakenly believes that Intel is necessarily participating in any particular standard or offering any other licenses. Many thanks for you help in obtaining such a letter from your companies. Sincerely, Robert Snively (Chair INCITS TC T11) 408-333-8135 408-835-4321 (cell)
